32. What is your greatest regret?

Too many regrets along the way. The greatest was allowing myself to be manipulated by that group while working for the MOD. On the plus side, I eventually ended up working at Torchwood, which was a fantastic experience, but at the cost of never being allowed to see my mother again. That is a huge price to pay.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

No, I don't. I missed out on catching the plague, thankfully.

24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?

I was always the studious type, even as a young child. Very curious about everything around about me - I lived in Japan for nine years, then came back to England at the age of eleven, so the culture change was a great source of curiousity. Oh, and I've always been rather reserved.

50. Do you have any biases or prejudices?

I try not to. Sometimes with aliens it's difficult after all I've seen not to pull the gun first, ask questions later, but I try to work past that.

However, sometimes it's hard not to get frustrated at the whole human race, and their inability to get over themselves.

76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?

Smoke and drugs, no. Drink yes, though not to excess. Do I want to quit? No, the amount I drink does me no harm.

Reserved, curious, jaded.

Toshiko Sato. No middle name.

22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I spent part of my childhood in Japan, and at one stage I wanted to be a Geisha. You see them all about, and they are so beautiful and graceful.

53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?

I tend to keep most people at a distance, only letting them closer to me eventually. This can take a long time.

75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?

I love classical music, especially when I sit down and read a good book. But the movies are also good (as is just plain old going out to the pub).

85. What is your greatest strength as a person?

My inability to let a problem frustrate me. I will get to the end of it, no matter what.

29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?

Joining Torchwood. The day I was offered it was the day my life was turned around, and it opened my eyes to so many things.

36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?

Having to face the team after the whole telepathic alien necklace business. Hearing what people thought about me, and them knowing that they knew...

17. How much schooling have you had?

I finished university at 20, so a high level of schooling.

Knowingly betray any member of Torchwood. Not only are you guys my friends, but after everything I've been through, and the chances I've had, I'd rather allow myself to be hurt than betray you.

60. How close are you to your family?
I'm not really close to them, due to circumstances out of my control. My mother is the only one alive, but I haven't seen her for a few years.

80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
Reading is always good, but I like trying to translate alien languages for fun. It's relaxing.
